1st February 2013 Hiking - Walking: Casade De Rouget Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: rained all day :( Max Speed: Distance Covered: It rained all day !!! :( with low cloud too skiing was out of the question so after spam and eggs for breakfast :) we walked into Samoens to check out the shops - because of the weather the town was fairly busy - lots of English people :( :( :( andd there was even a big que to the cake shop !!! Then back for eggy bread - yum yum :) and with the rain still coming down we couldn't face and afternoon in the appartment so the two Mags and me drove up to Salvagny and had a nice walk despite the weather up to the Casaded De Rouget :) We really enjoyed the falls but taking pics was a waste of time because of the rain :( Then back to the van very wet but dry and we had a drive up the icy road to the Cirque Fer Cheval which is a wonderful spot well worth exploring on a better weather day. Fingers crossed this rain turns to snow tonight and we get a good day on the slopes tomorrow !!! Photo Gallery here |
